I can't believe it, its almost here!!! It feels like just yesterday I started planning and now its only about 3 weeks away. Its amazing how fast time flies by, especially when you never seem to have enough of it to begin with.
On the upside, at least most of the planning is already done. Still need to finalize stuff for the cake and we still have to buy favors and thats about it. Of course now comes the fun part of having to pay for everything.... I've been happily watching the cash grow in our savings account, or course soon to be depleted by everyone we know.
Then all thats left is to just have fun and pray for no rain since our ceremony is supposed to be outside.
I'll just be glad when the stress of all the planning is over. Its really been a drain on me.

A few weeks ago we finally broke down and purchased one of the Select Comfort Sleep Number beds. We got the 6000 model. It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was so worth the money. I am finally able to get a good nights sleep without waking up in pain the next morning.
I am so very glad we spent the money, it was so worth it.
As for the wedding planning, things are going good. I just keep feeling like I'm forgetting about something. We have the site reserved as well as the Justice of the Peace. My dress is on order, got my shoes but I keep feeling like I'm forgetting stuff.
This is what I have on the list:
1. Ceremony/reception location - Done
2. JP - Done
3. Dress, etc - Done
4. Bridesmades dress
5. Grooms attire
6. Best man's attire
7. flowers
8. cake
9. photographer - Done
10. menu selections
11. invitations
12. guest favors
I still feel like I'm forgetting something but I don't know what. We're currently stuck on trying to figure out what to do for favors. We both like to cook, and we'd like to give something that will last a long time and not cost a lot. Candy is sometimes overdone, and depending on what type you get it doesn't seem to last very long.
Guess I'll know the right thing when I find it, just haven't found it yet.
I've been MIA for awhile since my last post... Too busy with work, and life in general, haven't had a chance to post again.
Now I'm trying to get everything planned for our wedding this August, which is starting to stress me out as well. Went shopping this past weekend and found my perfect dress. Its been ordered and should be delivered the beginning of July.
We've picked the site, and I still feel like there is so much still left to do.
I need a vacation....
I've found a great new site that many of you may or may not have heard of yet. Its a new twist on some of these paid to shop sites. Many of which require you to pay a fee to signup. The site is MyPowerMall. Click
here to find out more.
Unlike many sites, there is a large amount of brand name stores that you are able to earn a percentage of cash back on every purchase. The best part is that it is free to join.
Come join me and make some extra cash off the shopping that you already do online. The best part is this program is free to join. They will never charge you any membership fees to make money off what you already do online. You can't get any better than that.
I'm always looking for new ways to make a little extra cash and this seems like a sure bet. The only thing that would be better would be to find that infamous money tree.
I'm just starting to try and plan my wedding and I'm already getting overwhelmed. I just want to do something small for a price that will not break the bank but in my area that is almost impossible.
Some sites require you to have at least 100 to 175+ people otherwise they won't even talk to you. Then there are others that will accept smaller parties but the price per person is at least $80 or more. Some are $140 and up
I have found one site in my area that sounds like a good deal. Here's their site Stonecroft. They offer a nice alternative to the whole overdone reception idea. They give you the ability to have your ceremony onsite and a nice dinner afterwards. Still have to get around to calling to make an appointment to see what the costs will actually end up being. Hopefully it will be as affordable as I am hoping it will be.
I'm also trying to come up with ideas as to what to do for the Honeymoon. There are just way too many options and I don't even know where to start. I'm not sure if we want to go right after the wedding or if we want to do it at a later point in time. Going to a tropical island sounds nice, but then I look at how much it costs and I have no clue where to get the money for it.
I'm starting to think about a week in Washington DC, many places to see and at least its a close enough drive to where we live, but then trying to find a nice hotel in the area is already becoming ehausting. I found one I liked, but now I can't even remember which one it was. I tried searching for available rooms around the time we were planning, and there was nothing available. Who can go wrong with in room dining available 24hrs.
Between work and all this planning I'm already stressed and I haven't even started. I'll post moreonce I start solidifying the plans.
If theres anyone out there thats been through this before and has some advice I'd love to hear it.
Hi All!
Happy New Years to everyone. Hope things are going well for you all so far.
If you're looking to make some extra cash online this year, check out my PTC page
HereI have been paid by the sites listed with No Minimum required for payment. They are all free to join. Check them out and signup if you're interested.
Hopefully this year will be better than the last. I hope to successfully pay off some of my bills this year, and I hope some of the sites listed above will help me with this process. I can't really say this is my new years resolution, just more of a goal of mine.
So what is your New Years Resolution? Have you even made one? Post a reply, I'd love to know what your goal is.

For the past few days Milo has been obsessed with the water fountain. He sits and stares at it constantly, won't leave it alone, except maybe to eat. He stares at the water resevoir, waiting for it to gurgle, and bats at it occasionally.
I don't know why he's so obsessed with it. You can't get him to leave it alone. At least he hasn't caused a flood yet like he has in the past, towel it sits on soaked, wet paws. Big mess.
The cat's just not normal, guess he fits with the rest of the family
I'm kinda new to this whole blogging thing and I'm really not sure where to start.
I live in CT with my fioncee and our two furry four legged children. Milo a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair Cat and Smokey our 3 year old Minature Schnauzer. Guess I'll have to post some new pictures at a later point in time.
We just moved into our new home, still busy unpacking and trying to get everything in order. Who woulda thought you could accumulate so much stuff in such a short period of time.
But now that the move is complete and we finally sold our condo, now its onto the planning of the wedding. Geeze who woulda thought there is so much that needs to be done. I just want to do something small and inexpensive, but in this state that almost seems impossible.
I'll post more good stuff once things get back to normal.
